SOP – Re-Cut or Replacement Procedure of Cut Panels
Cut Panel Replacement Procedure |
Vision:
Re-cut/Replacement
Panels are cut from same Roll/Shade following Mini Marker position to ensure that Re-cut/Replacement Panels are
perfectly matching with other Parts/Panels of the Garment.
Scope:
The
scope of the procedure covers re-cutting panels due to rejections.
Documents (Before Re-cutting/Replacing Panels):
1)
Roll wise Approved Numbering Plan
2)
PO wise Marker Plan with Mini Markers print
out
3)
Approved hard pattern with clear marking of
Grain Line
4)
Left over Roll wise fabrics with cut number
mentioned.
Responsibility:
Quality
Head with assistance of QC In-charge this procedure.
However,
Cutting Manager/Cutting In-charge/Cutting Supervisor is primarily responsible
to ensure that this procedure followed strictly.
Procedure:
The
following procedure is followed upon receipt of Defective Cut Panels from 100%
Cut Panel check QC or Defective garments where parts need to be replaced.
1)
Defective Cut Panels or Defective garments
where parts need to be replaced are checked for cutting number.
2)
Roll wise numbering plan referred to
identify the Fabric Roll used.
3)
Left over fabrics from the same roll
collected for re-cut. If same roll is not available, then the fabric rolls from
the same dye lot/shade will be used based on collective approval by Cutting QC
In-charge/Cutting Manager/Cutting in-charge.
4)
Marker Plan/Mini marker been referred to
identify the place where that particular size been cut to have similar shade.
5)
Approved Hard Pattern used and the grain
line followed perfectly, then the clear marking done for re-cut.
6)
After re-cutting the panels, entry is made
in the Re-cut/Replacement Log book and then the re-cut panels been handed over to
Cutting QC for check.
7)
Cutting QC check as below.
a)
For Re-cutting Panels – Cutting must check
that the re-cut panel 100% matches with other panels of same cutting number.
Cutting also checks for other fabrics and finding are marked in the 100% Cut
Panel inspection report.
b)
For Replacement of Panel from one Garment –
Cutting QC check the replacement panels against other parts of the garment for
color shading as well as other fabric defects.
